**Important Note**
- BUYERS beware of irreputable breeders selling sick animals, many are from Mexico. This is mostly happening in border states. They will meet you at a park or parking lot, give you the animal, take your money and then they are gone. You have no way of returning the sick animal.
- BUYERS beware of breeders from out of your area, whom you send money to and then never receive the animal. This has been done from sellers out of the United States. Escrow companies are best for buying out of your area.
- SELLERS beware of people offering to buy your animal for more than you are asking, and then wanting to get your bank account information to send the money to. Also, beware of people saying they want to buy your animal and ask for any information such as your name, address, etc. so they can send a money order. Do not give out any personal information. Ask for their phone number, and talk to them directly. Again, an escrow company is best.

TIPS ON SELLING YOUR PET
Although Pet Trader USA cannot closely monitor the reputability of all those listing ads at this site, we hope to maintain a high degree of integrity which is built on you the seller.
When selling your animals here are a few things to consider.

Repeat business is built on a good reputation. Honesty and integrity along with fairness and responsibility will help build your reputation as quickly as dishonesty and lack of integrity will destroy it. Do not misrepresent your animal. If you are honest you will develop a good reputation and a client base on your own.

A picture speaks a thousand words. When placing a photo with your ad, be sure the picture is clear and captures your animal's personality. Your picture will play a big part in selling your animal. Remember, DO NOT try to make your animal appear too good to be true.

Provide all pertinent information. A buyer does not want to go to another link to find out the price, or other information regarding your animal. Utilize the space provided for your ad to include what the buyer would most want to know such as health, price, sex, when the animal is available, and anything else that may make your animal stand out.
Also use your ad title to grab the interest, use the ad to spark curiosity. Remember, your ad title is crawled by search engines. Make your title text what you think people might be searching for.

Be concise. Use less words to say the same thing. Buyers do not want to read a long description. If they are interested, your contact information will be readily available for them to get all the information they need.
